Belfast festivities in city hall's Christmas market!

What if it's still November, the Christmas preparations for the Holiday season has already started and all across the UK you can bump into stunning Festive decorations including delicious sweets you can taste while strolling through the market stalls. So it happened for me to make a day trip to the beautiful city of Belfast in Northern Ireland and for my surprise the 16th of November was the inauguration of the city's Christmas market so i didn't hesitate to taste some of its great variety of sweets!

There was no doubt that wherever i  chose to stop i was smelling a great amount of deliciousness and although the people were flocking around the central square of the city i i couldn stop but staring the beautifully decorated city. The town hall is brilliantly illuminated with bright colourful lights and while the weather was quite mild i spent quite some time around watching and tasting. There was a huge array of sweets like supersize cupcakes with toppings made of whole chocolates and marshmallows, spanish chuurros, waffles, delicious chocolate kisses, muffins, fudge and many more.

The city has organised a huge celebration program for the festive season as well as the celebration of the lightning of the Christmas tree and the whole city! In case you are planning to visit northern Ireland during Christmas try to be there and enjoy the rich festive program that the city mayor has organised for the visitors!
